Edotco’s Bangladesh unit has signed a multi-year deal with Grameenphone to extend their existing infrastructure leasing agreement to support the telco’s 4G network expansion into underserved areas.
Edotco said that its reinforced strategic partnership with Grameenphone would not only enable the telco to expand its network coverage to outlying areas, but also enhance digital connectivity across Bangladesh and support the country’s digital transformation and digital inclusion goals.
“This renewed partnership with Grameenphone enables us to continue building the infrastructure needed to support 4G network expansion, enabling digital access even in remote and underserved areas,” said Edotco Bangladesh’s country MD Sunil Issac. “By aligning our expertise with Grameenphone’s vision, we aim to bridge the digital divide and contribute to Bangladesh’s digital transformation.”
