During the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) held in Badung, Bali, the Egyptian government offered Indonesian companies the opportunity to invest in various sectors, including data centres and digitalization.
“The Egyptian government wants Indonesian companies to invest in their data center projects. Indonesia, as a large and experienced country, can share its experiences on how digitalization improves the national economy and progress,” said Budi Arie Setiadi, Indonesian Minister of Communication and Information Technology.
The Egyptian delegation, led by Amr Talaat, Minister of ICT, also expressed the desire for enhanced collaboration in the field of submarine cables to improve connectivity services in Egypt, as well as in strengthening the digital skills of human resources.
