Vodafone Idea (Vi) has officially launched its Unlimited 5G data plans, marking a significant step in the company's expansion into the next-generation telecommunications arena.
The new offerings came to light following a brief maintenance period on the telecom operator's website, which is now live with details specific to the Mumbai circle.
The Unlimited 5G service is being offered as a limited-time introductory promotion. Vi asserts that its 5G speeds can reach up to 30 times faster than 4G, enhancing the appeal of its new plans.
Currently, Vi's 5G network is operational in Mumbai, with plans for a gradual rollout across the country. Additional 5G services will be available in states including Bihar, Delhi, Karnataka, and Punjab, with a promise that customers in these regions can expect commercial services by April 2025.
