Ncell has boosted connectivity speeds for its 4G service in various districts of the Lumbini and Bagmati provinces as part of an ongoing drive to improve Quality of Service (QoS) for customers.

Customers in the Bagmati districts of Chautara Sangachowk Gadhi, Indrasarowar, Manthali and Thaha now have faster 4G connections, as do customers in the districts of Bhumekasthan, Chandrakot, Malarani, Mathagadhi, Pyuthan, Rambha, Sandhikharka, Tansen and Tinau in Lumbini.

Those improvements follow efforts in February to improve 4G connectivity in another 11 districts in Lumbini, as well as districts in the provinces of Madhesh and Gandaki.

Since launching its 4G service in 2017, Ncell has expanded 4G to all 77 districts in Nepal, covering over 92% of the country’s population.

Ncell said that it remains committed to improving 4G service in different parts of the country and upgrading 4G capacity in its towers in various districts. As QoS improves, more of its customers are using Ncell numbers for online banking transactions. Ncell also said retailers in remote areas like Terai use Ncell to receive transaction alerts for their digital wallets.
