Samsung Electronics Singapore has announced partnerships with Challenger Technologies, Geniebook, and TeachingTutor.ai to enhance digital classroom experiences through AI-powered education technology (edtech) solutions.
The partnerships are set to bring scalable and secure edtech solutions to educational institutions, leveraging Samsung's government-grade Knox security. Samsung and its partners plan to facilitate various workshops and provide a library of multimedia resources to support AI adoption in education, helping to expand AI literacy among educators and users.

An industry-wide standards-compliant approach is essential to ensure broadband applications for critical communications users are mission-critical quality. This is a key takeaway from a new white paper from TCCA, based on the results of a sector-wide survey, which also highlights the importance of testing and certification of applications designed to support mission-critical operations.
A wide range of broadband applications are already in use by critical communications users. However, the majority of these applications are currently deployed over commercial networks, with over-the-top, best-effort Quality of Service (QoS). As broadband data applications become increasingly important for day-to-day operations, users will demand their applications to be delivered with mission-critical QoS.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has become the first telecom operator to launch a satellite-to-device service in India.
BSNL is collaborating with Viasat to provide this service. The companies successfully demonstrated satellite-powered two-way messaging services for attendees at the India Mobile Congress 2024 in October.
